Rita Tepper Horowitz, is truly a "Jersey Girl." Born in Newark, Rita was educated in South Orange and graduated Cum Laude from Syracuse University. Rita has for many years helped to settle families in Millburn and the communities serviced by North Central Jersey Board of Realtors. Her involvement in community affairs in Millburn is very extensive; appointed to the Historical Preservation Commission, the Board of the Millburn Free Public Library and was for many years a member of the Republican County Committee. Ms. Horowitz has served on the Board of Trustees of Congregation Bnai Israel of Millburn and Oheb Sholom Congregation in South Orange.

A number of years ago she was awarded Realtor of the Year by the Board of Realtors of Oranges and Maplewood because of her excellent real estate record and service to the community.

Rita is married to Dr. Jerome Horowitz, a practicing Millbum dentist and the Mother of four children: Alan, a professor of Sociology at the University of Delaware, Dr. JoAnn , an oncologist, Beth, a Middle School Guidance Counselor, and Dr. John a Vascular Surgeon. Her five marvelous grandchildren are the light of her life.
